License Agreement

• "Content" refers to all icons, graphic assets, SVG files, PNG files, and any other downloadable materials available on Freeicon.com.
• "You" or "User" refers to any individual or entity that downloads or uses Content from Freeicon.com.
• "Freeicon" refers to Freeicon.com and its owners, operators, and affiliates.

All Content on Freeicon.com is provided free of charge under the following permitted uses:

• Use icons in personal projects (websites, apps, presentations, school projects, etc.).
• Use icons in commercial projects (client work, SaaS products, marketing materials, advertisements, etc.).
• Modify, resize, recolor, or adapt icons to fit your project needs.
• Use icons in digital products (websites, mobile apps, software interfaces, social media posts).
• Use icons in printed materials (business cards, flyers, posters, packaging, merchandise).
• Use icons in video content (YouTube thumbnails, video overlays, streaming graphics).
• Use icons in templates and themes, provided the icons are not the primary value of the product.

Attribution is never required when using icons from Freeicon.com. If you'd like to credit us, we appreciate it — for example:

• A link back to freeicon.com in your website footer or credits page.
• A text credit such as "Icons by Freeicon.com" in your project's about section or documentation.
• A mention in your app's acknowledgments or license screen.

None of this is required to use our icons — it's simply how you can support Freeicon.com if you choose to.

The following uses are strictly prohibited:

• Reselling, sublicensing, or redistributing icons as standalone files or as part of an icon pack/collection.
• Offering icons for free download on other websites, platforms, or file-sharing services.
• Using icons as the primary or substantial element of a product being sold (e.g., selling stickers, prints, or merchandise where the icon is the main design).
• Claiming ownership or authorship of the icons.
• Using icons in a way that implies endorsement by Freeicon.com or the original icon creator.
• Using icons in content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or promotes hate speech or violence.
• Training artificial intelligence or machine learning models using the icons without prior written permission.
• Registering any icon or derivative as a trademark, logo, or service mark.

You may use icons in website templates, UI kits, or design themes that you sell, provided that the icons are embedded as part of the design and are not easily extractable as standalone icon files. The icons must not be the primary value proposition of the template. A mention of Freeicon.com in your README or credits section is appreciated, though — consistent with our attribution policy — not required.

Icons depicting third-party logos, brands, or trademarks (e.g., social media or brand icons) are provided for illustrative and informational use only. Trademark rights remain with their respective owners and are not affected by this license.

Icons from Freeicon.com may not be used to train, develop, or improve artificial intelligence models, machine learning algorithms, or similar technologies without explicit written permission from Freeicon.com.

Freeicon.com provides a documented API for programmatic access. Obtaining Content by any other automated means is prohibited, as is misusing the API itself. The following are strictly forbidden:

• Scraping, crawling, or bulk-downloading Content from the website, including by scripting the download flow, driving a headless browser, or circumventing download limits, wait timers, or rate limits.
• Accessing the API without a valid key, sharing or reselling a key, or using a key issued to another person or organisation.
• Circumventing, or attempting to circumvent, API credit limits, rate limits, or the restrictions of your plan — including by creating multiple accounts to obtain additional free allowances.
• Mirroring, republishing, or building a competing icon search, download, or API service from Content obtained through the website or the API.

Legitimate automated access is available through our API, subject to its plan limits. We may suspend or revoke API keys and accounts that breach this section, and may block requests that place an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.

All Content is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Freeicon.com does not warrant that Content will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose. You use all Content at your own risk.

In no event shall Freeicon.com be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Content, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

This license is effective until terminated. Freeicon.com may terminate your license at any time if you breach any of these terms.

Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Content and destroy any copies in your possession. Uses of Content in projects completed before termination remain valid.

Freeicon.com reserves the right to modify this License Agreement at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
